Entertainment is an independent distribution company in the UK and was founded in 1978. The company has a really good reputation in the film industry because the film's it has released currently has a total of 38 Oscar wins and 22 BAFTAs.They have previously distributed many mainstream and successful films such as Hairspray and 17 Again. They distribute a range of genres but have released such horror films as Saw and The Final Destination series, which could suggest that they would be interested in our film.
When they take on a film they are able to distribute it in theatrical, DVD rental and other retail fields. They can also sell films to be played on TV. If we were to have this company distribute our film then this means that it would be made quite available. For example they are able to distribute for DVD rental which means they could sell it to such companies as Netflix and LoveFilm. These two companies make the films they exhibit very available to their audience and so this could increase the chances of our film being successful.
